U really enjoyed this spot. It was different my first time trying this i also ate plantains.

The food is consistently good, the staff are usually nice, but please check your food before you leave. I have ordered porridge and gotten soup, ordered fried dumpling over the phone and when I got there it's finished. Unnecessarily long wait, even if you order an hour ahead. Details are a problem. Asking for no dumpling in your soup means you're going to get dumplings, ask for extra gravy, you get none, ask for no vegetables, you will get vegetables. The food is good but getting specifically what you asked for and what you are paying (the food is expensive) for is a consistent challenge. So if you can deal with the long wait and not getting what you ordered, you'll enjoy the food. I like that unlike most West Indian restaurants, they have a large variety of offerings on the menu. The weekend special is great and you usually can get breakfast foods like ackee and callaloo any time of day.

I went here about a year ago for take out. I got the curry chicken, rice and peace with the jerk Mac n cheese for take out. Food was salty. Like there was no curry flavor, no spices, no depth, just salt. Like all of it with the exception of the cabbage. I figured I try it out again today but I got brown stew chicken. I ordered delivery at 12:50pm. At 2:28pm they cancelled my order and delayed my refund. Horrible food and service.
