Island Flamed Lucky Hibachi

Look at my name, you know I’m Jamaican…that being said why oh whyyy?? I get it, my flavor pallet is bit more refined since I’m Jamaican born and raised but this is simply unacceptable. I guarantee most of the positive comments on here are from Americans and those who call oxtail “oxtails” and rice and peas “peas and rice” because this has been the most disappointing meal of my life. You’ve sealed the deal for me, I’m done wasting money on Jamaican restaurants in Orlando, I’ve yet to find one with an ounce of authenticity. Anyone interested in a plate of white rice and undercooked red peas? HOW is this stew peas? Where’s the “stew”? Where’s the spinnas (small dumplings)? Where’s the coconut milk? Where’s the flavor? I’m all for supporting my own people/black owned businesses but this wasn’t it, don’t get me started on the jerk pork. Sorry but I won’t be returning. Shame on you disrespecting Jamaican food like this.

Omg- the food is amazing! I was in Orlando for a few days and I ate there every day! Customer service was outstanding!

Ordered curry goat, curry chicken and jerk chicken platters. Curry goat- GREAT!!!!!! Jerk chicken- too much vinegar taste in chicken. More like spicy barbecue than authentic Jamaican jerk. Curry chicken- tasty and didn't receive Yams or fried dumpling which was part of the order. Very disappointing.
