Iron Skillet

When I first arrived I sat down at the first two people booth to the left. Within 30 seconds I seen at least 9 ants on the table. I moved to the bar area to order. The lady was about to walk outside and smoke without even giving me my water. I got what they classified as a side with 6 pieces of veggies. What a joke! The mashed potatoes was very bland no seasoning and no butter. They had the consistency of soggy bread and stuck to the top of my mouth. I felt like I was toothless trying to smack the potatoes out of the top of my mouth. The steak was cooked to the perfect temperature and was juicy but way too much salt. I waited over 10 minutes just to pay and get out of there. Everybody kept going outside and not actually paying attention. I do not recommend this place. This iron skillet needs to do like the others and close down. Nobody wants ants on their table!!!

Now I am a mixed review here, food was good but service was understaffed it felt like. BUT the plus side is our waitress was an amazing one so that helped. Stop and try the food, judge it for yourself. I am a happy customer but I felt bad for the staff. Kid-friendliness: The high chair was busted a bit but the staff fixed it for us fast so our 1 year old could eat with us.

This Petro is the worst run truck stop in America. The manager should be fired. Dirty and gross. SMH. I feel like reporting it to the corporate office. I hate messing with peoples livelihood though. Drivers deserve better then this! Photos are of the drivers lounge.
