Iron Horse Bar & Grill

-Prices didn’t match the menu. Manager said, “ Updating menu as we speak” but did not adjust our bill. I took photos and disputed with CC company. -Server’s second day and was alone. She was clearly overwhelmed and scattered. -Took well over an hour to get food. -Literally had to ask 4 times for water refills. -Asked 3 times for box. I considered just taking the plate home instead of a box. -Ordered nachos that were sent to another table. Wrong table knew that was there nachos. Server took back and tried to put on our table after sitting on their table for several minutes. -Very questionable food safety practices. Only good thing I can say is that drinks are cheap. Too many other great places in the area. Needs better management.

I have tried to like Iron Horse several times over the past year because it is a fairly low key, local place to go for a couple of beers and meal without a 'club' atmosphere. Food is fair, but items on the menu are not always available. The service, however is the largest detractor and is seriously lacking. Bartenders are not attentive unless you happen to be one of their friends and will walk past you with blinders on multiple times even when it is clear that a glass is empty or you are set to close out. It should not be necessary to wave one of them down to get a refill or check. I won't be back - there are far better local alternatives.

I have been here a few times and always had a good experience. Unfortunately today was not so good. Took a long time to get drinks brought to table. When drinks were brought they were not made properly to order. That isn't a big deal but was is the very long wait to get it fixed. The one thing I did like is the boneless chicken in barbecue sauce. This is why there are 3 stars. The food was great.
