Intrinsic is a smokehouse that brings the ????????????????. They have the juiciest, tastiest plant based bbq I've had in the DFW area. We were sad to see the outdoor area closed due to remodeling. We really enjoyed being able to have some cold ale brewed on location, fire bbq and live music. Overall, it's our go to BBQ spot and the vibes are always great. Were there only once after an musical event nearby. Interior was way better looking than exterior. A nice surprise! Wide selection of beers, flavorful burger and friendly staffs. Will recommend. Overwhelming cigarette smell and overflowing ashtrays at entrance, one star deducted.
The family finished seeing one of the monkies perform at the Garland playhouse and we needed to feed him after his stellar performance. A stones throw away was Intrinsic and he likes BBQ so we walked down the street to feed everyone. Currently that area in Garland is under construction so parking can be an issue for many. You walk in and pass the micro brewery and go get in line to place your order. Our order consisted of moist brisket, Flatbread, chicken, and okra. The BBQ rub is so good and can be tasted each and every bite. The chicken has a delicious smoke taste that is present in each bite.When you order your brisket with fat, trust me you'll get it with fat. The okra coating is light and the Flatbread is fully packed with toppings. We got 2 orders of chicharrones to go and let me tell you, those pork skins are the best especially with the seasoning on them. The final price was $58 plus two orders of chicartones. Intrinsic is always a safe and good bet for all.
