International Cafe

This is one of the best place for breakfast and lunch in Tampa downtown. I have been a regular customer for quite a few years, the food and service is never disappointing. It's a ritual that I follow almost everyday in the morning, international cafe breakfast and house coffee around 9:30am, without this my day is incomplete :) Price is very affordable for the portion you get. I will definitely continue to be a loyal customer.

This is my first time visiting and I chose this place as I am in downtown for the court house. The woman seems to be working by herself and it wasn't very busy at all. I got the Cuban and it came out fairly quickly for it only being herself. She's very attentive and did her best with us all. The portion is very huge for the price (I could barely finish my sandwich) although I'm not sure if you get a side of chips with it or not, not that it was necessary to have. A big issue I've always had qith pressed Cubans is the tomatoes and lettuce is left on it when it is pressed making what is supposed to be cold and crisp, always gross and soggy. Luckily, they put all the cold ingredients (lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mayo, and mustard) on AFTER the sandwich is pressed and it makes it taste sooo much better. Hopefully if I ever come back here, I am able to have a similar experience again.
