This place was great. You can order a 'predetermined' bowl or build your own. My husband and I like to go with the tried-and-true, so we both ordered from the 'predetermined' menu. I got an asparagus chicken bowl that also came with cilantro rice and mushrooms, plus shaved carrots and almonds. I don't even like mushrooms, but these were delicious! They were seasoned so well, and the texture wasn't slimy. There was also some great lemony vinaigrette to pour over it. Very yummy. My husband is a less adventuresome eater. He got the taco-style bowl and he actually mostly liked it - aside from the vegetables! :D The restaurant is open, airy, and clean. The changing sign near the door is fun, and the restrooms were clean. I would eat here again.

I don’t know of another quick service restaurant in the country that does farm to table, especially not one located downtown with their own farm located inside metro limits. What a blessing to have this downtown. Food is great! Love it! The last bowl I ate was topped with brie and other high-end ingredients, so these bowls are a great value!

I'm visiting downtown Louisville and wanted some real breakfast food. Not pastries or powdered eggs. I want real eggs, fresh fruit... Just real food. So I went hunting for some. I struck out on a few places and walked past this place named In Season. It was morning and the door was unlocked. But when I walked in I could see they were prepping for the day and I realized that they were closed. But Daniel, the owner, (super nice guy by the way) was like, "No problem, what do you want?" They have yellow watermelon and are making me an omelet. Hells yes, real food! There aren't many restaurants like this making real food from real product. I have mad respect for what they're doing. You deserve real food. Get it here.
