Il Mulino New York - Boca Raton

Excellent service, mediocre food for the prices. Had the soup which seemed to have frozen spinach. Anchovies, dark ones not white. Honestly, have had better food at Renzo’s which is a great neighborhood family restaurant with fair prices. And if you’re looking for an upscale fine Italian restaurant, stick with Tratoria Romana which is always fantastic.

The service was decent but it was over staffed and many errors were made as a result. The food was honestly terrible to the point of being inedible. I was shocked because this was not my experience when I first ate at Il Mulino Boca when it first opened.

I was honestly very disappointed by Il Mulino in Boca Raton. It is a small restaurant yet the vibe is not there… The service did not meet my expectations considering their prices were high. The server was not very attentive and disorganized between courses. I had an oyster with caviar which tasted old and bad that I did not dare to eat. My husband had a veal that looked like pizza and just so heavy… I also had salt crusted branzino which was expensive but it wasn’t too special for the price. I am disappointed. Not going back anytime soon.
