Il Lazzarone Pizza

Third time here, and the busiest. Pizza is good, closest I have found in KC to New Haven style pizza. Drink menu has been different each visit, so a good chance to try something new. Service is ok, it was busy and they were short handed, but don't let my water get empty and definitely refill drinks once food is brought out.

Good, but not quite what it used to be. The flavors are well put together, the crust is chewy with good char but cooked until cracker in some parts. The hostess was convinced they didn't have any open seats (despite half the restaurant being open and then seating those empty tables after we sat down...) I'd go back and sit at the bar in back instead.

Best pizza in KC. caesar was 9.5/10 super good, drinks were superb. The service is always amazing. Do yourself a favor and get a pizza w red sauce first, and then get a white sauce pizza next time or as an appetizer. Crust has perfect leopard print letting me know it was cooked at the perfect temperature (800+) just fantastic. Just wonderful. My friend said it was top 5 things they've eaten in their life.
