Il Bucato

Placed an online order at 6:15PM. Website said pickup time was 7PM. Upon arrival I was told the wait would be a few minutes longer, no problem. I checked back in the store at 7:10 to be told my pizza had been given to another customer and that it would be longer to recook the order. At 7:30 I was given a cold pizza… We will not be going back to Il Bucato and it is a shame because it is so close to my house. It is the best pizza in town if you can put up with the horrible customer service. This was not the first time we have had this problem.

We carried out the salad/pizza combo for dinner with their signature pizza (meat and veggies). Pizza was delicious. The red sauce was super flavorful and cheese was really good (not greasy at all). The crust held up well even after steaming in the box for the 20 minute drive home. Springy but not soggy in the middle with a crisp crust. The toppings were good, I prefer sharper onions, but my wife really liked the sweeter onions on this pie. Salad was fresh and crisp with a yummy house dressing. Il bucato is one of the best carry out pizzas I’ve had in Columbia. Going to have to try their sandwiches next!
