IHOP

I had almost given up on IHOP after multiple bad experiences at the Holland location and my last pick up order being terrible from there. Took a chance on this location and it was so worth it! Food was great (it actually looked like how the menu presented it), the server was super down to earth and she seemed to actually genuinely care about the service she was providing. Talmadge management- go show the Holland location how it's done!

The service was pretty good, our server was friendly and nice. I have to be gluten free, so I chose to take the risk and try their gluten friendly pancakes, with a side of over easy eggs and bacon. The pancakes looked very fluffy, but when I ate a bite, they were extremely dry. The eggs were pretty good, and the bacon was okay. They provided me with gluten free syrup, but even the syrup couldn't combat the dryness of the pancakes. I wouldn't steer anyone away from going there, just stating my experience.

Not sure why, but whenever my boyfriend and I come here, the waitresses are so rude to us. Not explicitly, but they won’t look at us and we can hear them interacting with other customers naturally and actually speaking to them. Again, I am not certain why because we don’t talk loudly or rudely, and we clean up our tables, having both worked service jobs ourselves we understand to always be polite and patient but honestly the waitress I had last Friday was horrible. The service between us and her other tables was night and day. She didn’t even look at us when she put our check on the table (we were there a short while and my boyfriend wanted to order something else), and muttered “whenever you’re ready” or something along the lines under her breath, but when she said it to the table next to us it was a normal cheery customer service tone. She even asked them if she could get them anything else or a box. I get people have off days but this was blatant discrimination of some sort, and I’m
