My wife and I decided to drop in on the location in the The Colony. The place was hidden in plain sight behind a bunch of tall trees of the freeway, and the only reason we knew it there is because we move around the corner. Plus, signage is blocked from view. We walked in and were promptly seated. Our waitress was friendly and took our order. She was knowledgeable of the menu. The decor of this restaurant needs an overhaul, and the ambiance is a bit dark. The food was typical IHOP and hot. The hot chocolate was satisfactory...
Good place, Sundays are kinda full in the range from 10-12, and besides that, the wait time (like 20 mins) it was quick, wait for the food like 10 mins I think, but all good, food good, pankakes good, coffe and eggs. The lady was nice too.
It was about a 30-minute wait to be seated as it was crowded, but it was well worth the wait. The restaurant was clean and the food was great! I got the 2x2x2 which comes with two pancakes, two slices of bacon, and two eggs. My friend got the turkey dinner, which comes with a generous portion of turkey, mashed potatoes and broccoli and cranberry sauce. Everything tasted great and clean! The person who served us was also very nice despite being so busy. I really wish the one closer to my house was much more like this one!
