The coffee and hot chocolate were gross. The one and only server tried very hard to provide good service. He was stretched thin but took care of us. The food was decent for the time of night. The entry area had a terrible odor.
Walked in, then walked out. This used to be my favorite place at every time of day. But it's almost like after the remodel was finished, they cut their hours dramatically. I haven't had a good experience since. It is always understaffed and the waiters are always rushing, panicking, or just dont care and fed up. As soon as we walked in this time, I saw only one person running around and customers paying up front (presumably because they were taking too long to get to the table) which is how it has been the last few times I came, so I can relate. I guess I have to officially find a new IHOP. I've given too many chances. Just sad. This was always my place. I feel bad for the staff too. They don't even know it's not supposed to be like that for them. Food is always good though. Just understaffed. And the coffee is always cold and watered down. Used to be my favorite coffee and always strong, but not anymore.
Curbside service is the worst, first I was lucky to find a parking space in the designated area, then I waited 10 minutes inside my car but nobody delivered the food. I went inside and the hostess in a rudely manner said that it was nobody to bring to curbside. Literally she said, "wait here until your food is ready" and I waited 35 minutes for the order. Food was cold. What is the point to offer Curbside pickup? I'll never come back to this IHOP location!
