IHOP

ZERO STARS. TERRIBLE SERVICE. First we wait 20 minutes for a table, they sit us the table is completely wet… our server ( Kelly I think, a big guy with a pony tail) takes 10 minutes to come grab our drinks order I say we are ready to order the food and starving, he says he can’t take our order because he’s helping another table. We wait another 5 minutes to finally order, while I’m saying my order he keeps saying “one second” cutting me off… what service is this? Ok, we get our drinks the fire alarm starts, after 7 minutes fireman show up… NO STAFF TALKED TO US, we kept asking to them “is everything ok? Should we leave?” After 25 minutes listening to the beeping sound of the fire alarm, me being pregnant, my two year old son and my husband, all of us starving but hoping our food was coming, we ask someone to check on our food, and this TERRIBLE server shows up and says “ Oh no, your food is not even started, they had to pause the kitchen because of the fire alarm” So they literally had

IHOP! This place is an great dining in place to go to eat in with ur family, (if you live in the area or are around the area) there food is good and will fill you up, staff is so friendly always working hard, this place is not really busy so sometimes you can enjoy it to ur self with just a couple people here, they have things ready for when you come so don’t expect a long wait to get seated and starts ordering… food takes 15-20 mins from what we ordered, they make the kids food so decorative and fun! Seating is nice and everything is decent to this visit… they have made it Covid safe for everyone especially having the delivery, we did the delivery once, it was really delicious it was still warm when it came and me and my family liked it.. We show up at 9:17 tonight at the Draper IHOP. After being ignored for several minutes, the server/hostess asks us how she can help us. What else would we be there for? We told her we would like to be seated to eat. She said that they close at 10:00. We said that's fine it's only 9:17. (It's Saturday and the door actually said they were open until midnight) Her response was "The cook likes to dip out at 9:30." So she couldn't seat us. It wasn't just what she was saying, but how she was saying it and treating us. She treated us like we were idiots for wanting to be seated. I hope management and the owner know that their employees are turning business away so they can leave early. Also of note, as we were standing there waiting for someone to help us, we noticed that there were several dirty tables and she was talking to the only table of people that was there. We are Draper residents and have eaten here many times, but we won't be back. We will take our business to establishments who ac
