Iguana Grill

This is genuinely one of my favorite places to go, so I hate to leave this review but tonight I didn’t have the greatest experience. The food and drinks were amazing, but our server was a bit rude. After we paid for the meal and he handed us our receipts he told us that we needed to be sure to tip him and to “not disappoint him” because this is what he does for a living. Which I completely understand, I was a server for awhile. We had every intention of tipping, but to tell your customers you deserve to be tipped is unprofessional. Especially whenever he was late to take our orders, hardly checked in, and singled out our friend for paying in cash and not leaving enough change for a tip when she was gonna hand him the cash after she had paid. Again, I hate to leave this kind of review, but I just wanted it to be known.

The food was alright & the inside looks quite beautiful but that's the only upside. There's definitely better Mexican food in the area. Cons: -It's quite expensive for the food's mediocre quality. -The margarita was way too expensive for what you get. It was the most ice and least amount of liquor I've ever had in a marg. Really bad bartending. -Our waiter seemed busy and talked to us while walking by without looking at us, yet there were so many other crew members standing around doing nothing. Wasn't even busy. Horrendous service. - The beer bottle I was given was covered in mold & due to poor service it took forever to get a new one. -The water was clearly tap (which I'm fine with) but it was the worst tap water of my life, maybe the glasses weren't properly cleaned. It was legit undrinkable. Thankfully my margarita was mostly water so I had a drink with my dinner. Overall the worst experience I've ever had at a Mexican Restaurant.
