Iggy's Eggies

Judging by the reviews, I'm going to go ahead and guess that Iggy's was just having a bad day. We arrived a few hours before the first Lions game of the season. There were a good amount of people gathered around the ordering window. It was busy, but not insanely busy. We placed an order -- two sandwiches and an order of hashbrowns. Given the crowd, we were quoted with a 20-30 minute order time. Annoying, but fine. The sandwiches looked decent in the photos and the reviews here are solid. Fast forward to an hour and ten minutes later, our name was finally called. When we took the sandwiches out of the bag, one was missing two of the requested ingredients. Both sandwiches were painfully small and not all that intricate looking. At most, these should have taken 10 minutes to make. It's easy to forgive delays these days with all the staffing issues places are having, but an hour and ten minutes for two breakfast sandwiches that are just slightly bigger than sliders with one that's missing

wonderful quick breakfast spot! i got the iggycado & my boyfriend got the brioche eggie with sausage and they were both fantastic. I only have a photo of mine unfortunately but his looked delicious! The sauces on both were wonderful and the combination of flavors were perfect! Also the service is perfect! Easy to order online and pick up and the woman at the pickup window was so kind. Someone mentioned too much for the sandwiches but i think they’re very reasonably priced, i’ve definitely seen more expensive back home for sandwiches that were not as good and smaller haha.

Iggy’s Eggies, although is not a dine in restaurant, is absolutely phenomenal and at this point should be considered a Downtown Detroit breakfast staple! All of the sandwiches and fresh orange juice based drinks I have had were really good. Be sure to arrive early as it is always busy during their hours. 11/10 and a definite must try!
