Iggy's Boardwalk

This place is great, I have never been let down by the quality of the food or the friendliness of the waitstaff. This place is not your typical sit down restaurant either, outside the back doors, you are greeted with an expansive outdoor space with a second full bar under a gazebo and two fire pits surrounded with Adirondack chairs. Sitting in these chairs, you can see right out into the bay and both the Jamestown and Newport bridges with ease. If you happen to find yourself here and near the end of your meal, you cannot forget about their milkshakes or other fabulous desserts, from a giant basket of their famous doughboys to their giant and meticulously decorated milkshakes, you will definitely have to save room for these treats. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Great place for seafood on the water. Casual dinning with a bar. Add the chowder with red and white it was good but it could’ve been hotter. Also had the lobster roll, cold and that was excellent.

First time coming to Iggy’s and we opted to dine in at the boardwalk. Plenty of parking lots in the area to park and was able to get a table on the outside covered patio area. Very nice views of the ocean and sail boats. We started with the New England clam chowder and it lives up to the stellar reviews. It’s top 5 best I’ve had. Clam cakes are also delicious and some of the best I’ve had. The entrees we got were equally delicious. The fried scollops were not greasy and had very light breading. It was not on the menu but you could get anything fried our waitress said. The fried whole belly clams were good but a lot of the bellies were small. The prices were not bad. The lobster casserole was amazing and full of lobster and butter. However, I didn’t get a lot of stuffing on top but it was rich and filling nonetheless. Finally the mini basket of doughboys came with 6 mini doughboys and caramel and chocolate dipping sauce. So yummy. Mixed drinks, beer, and wine to wash it all down were gr
