We made a reservation a week early, because this place get's crazy busy! We got there about 20 minutes early and the hostess still sat us right away, not more than a minute goes by and our waitress shows up asks if we had been there before, we said no and she explained everything to us and gave us some recommendations! We figured out what we wanted for drinks and appetizers (we took her recommendation). A few minutes later our champagne mimosas arrived, she popped the bottle for us and gave us both a hefty pour, just how we like it! As she was there our app came, Fried Green Tomatoes! They were great, fried well, tangy and a delicious! Our entrees came out right after we finished the app! My wife ordered the Smoked Chicken Salad Sandwich and chips! The sandwich was smokey, well seasoned and large just perfect! The chips had a hint of spice and a great crunch! I ordered the Chicken and Waffle! The food is incredible!! Being a foodie, this is one of my new favorite places, if you've never been, GOOOOOOO!!!! You will not be disappointed!! Why haven't I been here before!! I'm ready to go back tomorrow!! Just incredible!! I had the Pork chop plate, but I dived in so quickly I didn't get a chance to take a pic, had Red Beans and rice, and Pork Mac and cheese as sides. The other pic is my guest plate, shrimp & grits!! All of it was amazing!!
Wow! My wife has wanted to take me here for months and I was not disappointed. Broad menu with modern, global twists on Southern Cuisine. Had the Hot Chicken Tenders: Nashville look out! Chicken Salad Sandwich and Fried green Tomatoes were phenomenal as was the service (David). Get the homemade chips as your side. Great eclectic design with both inside and outside seating. Looking forward to coming back just for cocktails.
