Ichiban Japanese & Korean

Their food is good...Only thing is that they treated us differently between the two days when we went as a couple vs. with the entire family ,a group of 6. They served complementary starters, and someone was always nearby to attend our table n to serve waters. And when we went as a couple even though we ordered half in $ amount, there were no starters and to get a glass of water, I was raising my hand multiple times but they were all busy with a group of 10. I hope that they keep this in mind in the future if possible! Service matters , a huge part of the dining experience!

The sushi was really great. However the service was probably the worst I've ever experienced anywhere. Host Sat us promptly, the waiter came to table right after and said "what do you want" ok. It's late in the evening it's fine. I'm in the food and beverage business I get it. When the food arrived it was with a slam on the table almost thrown at us. The waiter immediately walked away. Mind you neither of us were even given water or offered a drink. We were also never given side plates as we were sharing. Ok whatever strike 2. Then a couple minutes into our meal the check was thrown down at us. We continued to eat. The waiter came back twice and picked up the checkbook and slammed it back down basically trying to rush us. So we finished paid cash and he never spoke to us ever. So our server should never had been tipped but we did because we are kind generous people. I'd never go again. Which is a shame the sushi itself was great.

Ichiban has been a local institution for years. It is a very popular place for business meetings and people just out for lunch. I have been here many times. Very convenient location. Excellent selection of Korean and Japanese food. The lunch menu is superb with lots of choices and beautiful bento boxes. Service s prompt. There was regular offerings of tea and water refills.
