Ichabod's Dockside Bar & Grille

I had read reviews but you never know what you're going to get... Especially with a place in a marina (in my experience). I'd give Ichabod's six stars if I could. Great spot to look at boats you cannot afford. Drinks were excellent and reasonable. Again... Reasonable! Nice broad menu but you come to a place like this for the seafood. All the fish is fresh, including the swordfish which for me is a real treat. Scallops wrapped in bacon to start were divine and the swordfish was absolutely flaky and buttery soft. It was fresh! Kinda surprised but the desserts also rocked. Key Lime pie awesome and not overly sweet and sour like so many places. And, the salted caramel cheesecake was completely disgusting.... Disgustingly amazing! Michelle was a great waitress and this place just totally hit it out of the park.

Father’s Day Lunch was great. I had the duck breast which was tender and very tasty. My husband ordered the fried shrimp with grilled sea scallops. He said the butter sauce is what made the dish delicious. We will try this restaurant again.

Good atmosphere and amazing views. They had live music so if want ac, peace and quiet you can sit inside. Food was great! Ordered lobster bisque and it was amazing, with chunks of meat in it but having it served with bread was a little messy. Shimp was good and well prepared (not overcooked-chewyl and glad they serve real mashed potatoes. They have a decadent chocolate cake you must try!
