Hunan Lion

Ordered the Wonton soup and Hunan combination as well as the General Tso Chicken. All was delicious and came out quickly. Sign on door as well as internet hours say they are open til 9. They close at 830. Will definitely be back to try something new.

When restaurants open in 1987 like the human lion and they are still serving today it’s almost always bc they are exceptional. The Hunan lion is most definite exceptional. Same owners all these years and they care A LOT about their biz and it shows. If ur this far reading I’ll just say this. IF you eat at the HL and ur being honest I really think you will say, “this is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to.” Outside of perhaps China which I don’t see many Americans visiting in the near future. Well at least we have the Hunan Lion on Bethel:))

TERRIBLE SERVICE. The place is very nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. The female waitress here is very rude, she wanted to take our order without even giving us the menu, then when ordering the drinks she got upset because she had to go twice to get more drinks and we had to ask for her not to come back. It was the first time she went and she needed to read the menu, and she was very insistent that I should order. I told her that I needed 10 minutes to order and every minute she came by to take my order, she didn't even let me choose. The food is fine, it's not gourmet food but it was delicious, although it was quite expensive for something so tasteless, $150 for an insignificant meal. Then on the bill we noticed that they charged us $8 extra for the rice that is supposed to come with the dish. Very dissatisfied with the service and disappointed with the food, we did not leave a tip, I don't think it was deserved. and the waitress was so rude that she withdrew the tips before leavin
