Hugo's Frog Bar & Chop House

We came in last Friday to celebrate closing on our house. This is the second time I’ve been here and the first time was good but I wasn’t happy with this last experience. The waiter brings out raw steaks to showcase the options and explain the cuts. I ordered a NY strip and the end result was literally 1/5 of the size of the steak they showed me. I understand steaks shrink while cooking but there is no possible way that the steak I received was the same size and cut advertised. Definitely not worthy of the $65 cost, and the chef should be embarrassed for even sending it out. I should have sent the steak back but was starving at that point. In hindsight I should have because when you spend $300 on a meal including tip, you expect more and certainly should receive a better result.

If you want to spend some money on something other than gambling this is the spot. The food was outstanding and the service was top notch. Expect to pay a premium but also expect to get what you pay for. The area is dimly lit and a little tight but once your seated it won't affect you. This place is buzzing with all kinds of folks. Attire is generally collared shirt although some casual was around. Well worth the time and money. Make sure you make reservations or be prepare to wait. Although it's inside the casino you are isolated from the noises and forget the money monsters just outside the door. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!

Their ribeye steak is the best. I think its called chicago cut something. King crablegs was super delicious with or without butter. Also the prime rib sandwich really good too. Play cards and having fun while enjoy the good food. Life is good.
