i’ve been to all of the locations in the houston area and i really love this location/area. Nice looking store and FOOD IS 10/10! Highly recommend the loaded fries. I wish they can put a howdy in the college station/bryan tx area soon!

In my opinion the size and heat of the reaper tender is not quite as good as the one at Dave's Hot Chicken. However, it was a good flavor, it was jucy, crunchy and not greasy. I got the reaper just as I do at Dave's, the spicy heat did not last, in my mouth, as long as Dave's Hot Chicken. Don't get me wrong it is good chicken and a decent size tender. They are way better than Champ's Nashville Hot Chicken in Pensacola Florida. Howdy does allow the customers to purchase just one tender, $3.49 ea., that comes with a sauce where at Dave's you have to purchase the one piece basket 4.69 that has a the tender a piece of bread, pickles, sauce and honey. The piece at Dave's is quite a bit bigger though. The young man, Eloy, that waited on me was very friendly and helpful. He did very well and so did Darrell, who cooked my reaper tender. If I had not eaten at Dave's then I would have probably given Howdy's a five star rating. So try them, in my opinion they are worth it.
