House Of Thai Rice & Noodle

This place is around the corner from my house. I've tried their potstickers that were really good but today I tried their Pad Thai and I was not impressed. I was really looking for some rich in dept flavors. I normally get my Pad Thai from another place but it's to far from me. The spice level was just to my liking but flavor wise it was very bland. I was expecting more because of the recommendation. I will go visit again but not for Pad Thai.

Place is great, affordable, great food. It's not world class but very delicious, priced well, and the staff is soo nice. Please try the hot sweet ginger tea, the yellow curry and their Thai tea. Warning about the Thai Tea - it is extremely sweet.

Their price increased 20% to 30% compared to the price on their website, making it a slightly more expensive Thai restaurant around the area. But I’m still happy with my experience here because the food is good and authentic enough. The Tum yum soup is not made from the instant soup paste that you can buy from stores which is what a lot of Thai restaurants do. They have their own flavors in every dishes they serve here, which to me is a nice feature. Definitely recommend the basil sauté and Tum yum soup. Nice and cozy environment and very friendly staff.
