House of Mandi - Yemeni Restaurant -مطعم بيت المندي اليمني

Great experience! We ordered a combination of chicken, lamb, and beef for 3 people. This is not for the faint of heart! 6 people can easily dine on the amount of food that was brought out. Onto the flavor. Just incredible! The meat literally comes off the bone with a small shake. The meat is tender, flavorful, and with a hint of Yemeni spices that isn't at all overpowering. Melt in your mouth goodness! If you have a group, do ask to be seated in the authentic Arabic style low to the ground booths. This just adds to the authenticity and a small wow factor for those from the western hemisphere. We're looking to come back with a larger group next time.

Honestly the food is perfect, but the service is terrible. I have allergies they keep messing up my orders & this has happened more than once. the last time i went i even got a wrong order & had to wait a long time to correct the order. I would definitely recommend the place the food is amazing, they just need to provide a better service.

I've never eaten Yemeni Arabic food before, this was my very first time AND I'm highly disappointed that I didn't try it SOONER. I was introduced by a Yemeni friend to flavors/spices I've never had before, I couldn't stop stuffing my mouth lol. The food was very fresh. I also ordered a home made sabaia dessert which was AMAZING! I haven't had sweets that good since I was in London. I would definitely come here again. I've already sent pictures to my family and friends of the food I had today to encourage them to try it for the first time as well. Especially thanks to Sam for the amazing service.
