House of China

First time visit for a lunch. Need to revise the restaurant as take out only as the inside dining is no longer an option. Food was really good. My daughter said it was the best General TSO chicken she has had.

I have been going to House of China for several years and I find the owners less than hospitable. They are very cheap and they do not follow customary Asian traditions. When I go there I always have large orders. They provide one complimentary duck sauce. When I ask for additional, they say you have to pay for it. Mind you, my orders normally feed anywhere from 4-6 people. Recently, they have been skimping on fortune cookies. Sometimes, they don’t even include it. House of China cares more about the money than creating an experience for their customers. I also recommend you do not try their Shrimp Curry because they do not devein their shrimp.

We get food from here at least once every couple weeks and it's always good. I always get the same thing: sweet & sour chicken meal comes with rice, egg roll, and soup. Yum! Good portions and fortunes! And very nice family running the business. I'm never disappointed when I go to eat from this restaurant. Edit: Check out my fortune! they gave me a cookie with my meal and I have to say this is one of the better fortunes I've ever gotten before from a fortune cookie. So fitting! I'm using the numbers on the lotto and I will get back to y'all if they were good for that too!
