Hotties - Nashville Hot Chicken

This is quickly becoming my favorite chicken place. They are fast and food is good.

There's a "no spice" option, so recommend not letting the name alone put you off. As someone who doesn't normally eat spicy hot foods (and was out-voted for restaurant choice), I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful moist and tender chicken. The truffle mac and cheese was also better than expected, but be prepared overall for prices that are somewhat steep for fast casual. If you're a fan of all things fried and crunchy or just love spicy with good flavor, give it a try!

Was looking for dinner at the shoppes with my friends and decided to give this place a try. From the get go I was skeptical. The air conditioning wasn’t working and I’m not sure if that was a factor, but the shop smelled really unpleasant. There were multiple stains of brown liquid on the wall, and I could feel my shoes sticking to the floor. Upon walking in you get a full view of the toilet in the back of the shop. We also witnessed a worker wash his hands, then proceed to go on his phone. I tried to give this shop the benefit of the doubt, given that each meal was about 16 dollars. I even joked with my friends that the best food places have the dirtiest environments because they’re too busy to clean but this didn’t end up being the case. After sitting down outside to eat out food, we realized the food was painfully average. The sauce on the sandwiches was the only thing that had flavor, other than that, the chicken was very bland.
