Local hot dog joint. This is my family’s favorite greasy spoon and the dogs and fries are excellent. My fav is the Windy City dog. Run by the same family for 50+ years.
Just as good as I remember when I was a kid! Nice homey feel and good food. Definitely should stop by for lunch if you haven’t tried it. Their sign was recently vandalized so it’s not as easy to find so make sure you look for it when driving down swift.
If you want a staple of Sarasota cuisine, you must stop here! Hot Diggity Dog has been at this location for over 50 years and owned by the same family during all of that time. Good, simple, fast food at old-fashioned prices makes this the place to visit while in the Gulf Gate area or in your way to or from Siesta Key Beach.
