Hook & Reel Seafood & Bar

I went to the newly open hook and reel on Friday and I was met by a friendly staff…. The wait wasn’t long .. within seconds I was greeted by my server Sammie. She was very polite and patient.. she gave us great advice on drinks and the boils making our first experience amazing….drinks food service and atmosphere was excellent. I was hesitant to order via Uber eats and I also have never tried Hook & Reel. Let me tell you, they EXCEEDED my expectations. My food came hot and clean, nicely packaged in the thick plastic bags where they sauce your food, and a couple more layers for security. I recycle the bags. I know delivery can be a crapshoot and I’m a good 20 minute drive away so my review is solely on the restaurant/food. -seafood was fresh -well-cooked seafood. The mussels might be a little more done than my liking, but it didn’t take away from the experience. -it was bountiful. I was expecting something measly due to consumer inflation, the snow crab shortage, restaurants facing so much rising costs. They did not skimp! It was more than I expected. -attentive…I put notes for sauces on the side and I got them! -taste…it was good (their signature sauce) but the sauces on the side for dipping made it perfect since the sauce is on the shells. I also want to try more sauces. Definitely will be back to do so. -my

This was my second time coming since they opened Monday! I LOVE it!!! The staff is amazing, and our server Kayla was excellent! We got to meet the regional manager, Nancy, she recognized us from the first night we came there. The food was served fast and hot, we started with hush puppies, then we got a seafood boil with dungeons crab and shrimp. This will be our go to spot!
