Hongda Chinese Chinese Restaurant

I’ve ordered delivery here before and decided this time I’d pick up food from the location. It’s time to promote this restaurant. Their food is delicious and affordable. I ordered the Shrimp & Vegetables, Kung Pao Chicken, & BBQ Pork Chow Mein. It came with a complimentary vegetarian sushi roll. Each dish had its own delicious flavor. And I love how they don’t overcook the veggies. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant on the westside, by far. The restaurant itself is small and intimate with a little Asian grocery inside it. Give it a try!

I ordered Beef Chow Mein and Mongolian beef. the Chow Mein was a pile of noodles with very few small pieces of what appeared to be beef. Not pieces of cut beef but like "shaved" beef. The Mongolian Beef was mostly onions and green and red peppers. The first Mongolian beef dish I've seen like this. There was very little beef just a few pieces of the "shaved" meat. Neither dish was very flavorful and generally unappealing. With the lack of beef in each dish they would qualify as vegetarian. A complete waste of money.

One roll is what I ordered the other was not close to what was described to be...I like sushi it was good but definitely not the best I've had here in EP
