This restaurants sits in a regular plaza off 441 and you could easily drive by and never try it. What a find. Clean, friendly staff and the food was very flavorful. I would recommend the steam pork buns, shrimp dumplings, the egg foo yung and one of the fried rice. Everything tasted freshly cooked to order. Vegetarian options: Extensive regular and dim sum veggie options
Amazing little spot with large traditional Dim Sum menu. Service was quick and friendly, even though I was a non-Asian patron. All the food items were hot and fresh. The noodles impressed me the most. None of the food was overly salty but was overly tasty. Ordered only from Dim Sum menu but they did offer a regular menu. Dim Sum dishes ranged from $4 to $12 depending on the item.
Recommended by an acquaintance for the best authentic Chinese food in S Florida, we decided to make the drive down to Tamarac to sample the dim sum. Expectations were low, since we were pretty sure nothing would beat the dim sum in SF, but the food actually was decent. The braised chicken in glutinous rice wrapped in banana leaf was pretty darn good, and stood out. The turnip cake was also tasty. The pork giblets also stood out, as well as the sesame seed glutinous dough balls. The shrimp hai gow, however, was not that great... The Chinese broccoli was also fresh and tasty .... Service was polite and quick, and prices were fair. All in all, pretty good for S. Florida.... Next time we will have to try the Peking Duck.
