Hong Kong Chop Suey

Hands down, the very best egg rolls anywhere. My dad and I get around when it comes to food and a good egg roll is hard to come by.... look no more, the search ends here

I ordered sweet and sour chicken and when we got home I had 4 little I mean little chunks of pineapple and green bell pepper. That was all in a big container of sauce! The chicken was so fried so crispy I couldn’t eat it. I used to love this place and am really saddened that I now have no Chinese restaurants in Lake or McHenry counties worth eating.

First time trying this restaurant so ordered the appetizer platter/ sampler to taste things plus 2 other entrees. As for appetizers: fried wontons were tasteless and cooked in old oil, BBQ pork smelled rancid so didn’t even try, fried shrimp was ok, crab Rangoon was good, egg roll just ok. Entrées: Chicken chop suey was decent. Beef chow fun also decent. Overall it was just ok. I question that bbq pork however, seriously did they sell us bad meat? - I wasn’t going to risk it. Will try other Chinese restaurants.
