I am so obsessed with this place. If I could eat it every day, I would. Yes, the line is long but it’s worth it. The staff is amazing, the biscuits are delicious, and there’s vegetarian options for gravy. A MUST try in STL.
Despite other reviews saying the line goes quickly, I experienced the opposite today. When I got there the line was at mission taco, and it took probably 45-50 minutes to reach the counter. Considering they’re only open two days a week, there aren’t really any “non-peak” hours, so my suggestion is to just get there early. It seemed like the biggest hang up was coffee drink orders and people ordering for huge groups. That being said, the food was great and reasonably priced. The spicy gravy is truly something special. Drip coffee was good too, but nothing out of the ordinary (refills could be nice). Overall, I will be back, the food was worth it. But I’m gonna wait until the initial hype dies down or they open up for more days of the week.
Fun walk-up breakfast spot! Good food, tiny menu- which I appreciate. The biscuits were delicious- definitely get the jam and honey butter sides. The pumpkin spice cold brew was great too! Only downside is that there’s no seating inside and it was kindof chilly outside. I guess most people order it and take it home. I would go back though!
