Honest Frisco

I was looking for honest which usually serves one of the best Indian food in my area . Mckinney location was opening at 5 pm and we were super hungry so decided to go this location. Big mistake .Greeted by some sad people who looked at us unenthusiastically (should have left then and there but no i have travelled too far) Ordered chhole bhature, pav bhaji , french fries, suger cane juice (only option) and dahi poori. Dahi poori came first and was a bit normal in taste . Then received chole bhature (poori chhole) . Poori was hard to chew and chhole was uncooked , when complained they took it back and came after half hour with same stuff with cilantro on top (ultimately have to throw since it was tasting sickening) Then came most tasteless pav bhaji and fries . We ate pav and then not able to tolerate bhaji any more Got sugercane juice which was just water with sugar , never tasted something so bad. This place is awful. We have ordered form here a few times and it has always disappointed compared to the north Plano location. My recent visit, I went right at opening on Sunday and first thing I noticed, is how dirty the walls, door, and counters were. They have no care for the appearance and sanitation. I ordered a veg cheese sandwich grilled. It barely touched a grill and barely had any substance in the sandwich. My wife said the cheese and bread had a freezer burn taste.

Tried their vegetable tava pulav and it was super tasty. Perfect blend of spices. Amazing service at front by gentleman. Would definitely recommend this location for all vegetarian options. I will come back with my family again here for sure
