Been wanting to go here for years now. Been getting there coupons in the mail for the longest. Anyways the first time, I finally head here. Ordered the #3 (I believe, if I remember) I've been told that their burgers are big & greasy. Which is true, but the one thing I wasn't told, was that their burgers fall apart in you hands. Still a great burger though. I'll definitely be back.
After work I decided to try a new place my friend Samone recommended Hippo Burgers. There are four locations located off 59N. I went to the one off Wilson Rd. It's very spacious but, simple. Lots of different Hippo Burgers to choose from. I went with the Avocado Burger. Good flavor, big patty that's well cooked, grilled onions, guacamole and tomato. They recommended the Cajun fries which had lots of flavor. I recommend the Jalapeño Ketchup. The drink station offers Pepsi products and flavored soda like orange crush. Two big screen tv's showing movies, lots of Booths & tables. Worth the stop to enjoy a Good Burger. I will be back!???????????????????? ????????
The burgers are delicious & so are the shakes. I also enjoyed the garlic fries. The Cajun fries were a little too salty but still had good flavor. Decent customer service.
