We have eaten better Indian food. Pretty overpriced too. For 2 adults and one child, we paid $80. But we’re willing to pay for good food. Chicken tikka masala was bland. Naan and samosa were pretty good. My lamb dish (pictured) was oily. I was expecting lamb pieces but got ground lamb. Overall, OK place but we will continue our search for good Indian food.
Flavor is on point, portions are STINGY! 8oz of paneer at the bizare costs about $6. You pay about $17 for a plate here, but only get like 2oz of paneer. Literally, 3-4 tiny pieces. It's weird. Also, there is not a spice level between "steam out your ears" and "basic white person" so beware! If you order mild to medium, get ready for the HEAT! The service is weird. We go once a week, but they act like they've never seen us each time. Could be a cultural thing? That said, it's the best Indian place I've found near Des Plaines so far though. I wish they would bring back the lunch buffet all week long.
I ordered their combo meal for one - Lamb Curry, and let me tell you this touched my souuuul! It was so good and very flavorful. The person that took my ordered asked how spicy i wanted it and i asked for mild and that is exactly what I got! ???? I for sure recommend this place who is looking for a great place to get some great food! I am very satisfied with the food!
