The food was pretty doggone good. The atmosphere was great. And amazingly on a Friday night there wasn’t a long wait to be seated!
Had dinner last week with my honey. We hadn’t been here since the pandemic. Always had a great time here in the past. Our server was great very attentive. We had the spinach artichoke dip it came with small round pieces of bread forget the name. The dip was great didn’t enjoy the bread it was just like a piece of hard toast didn’t care for it. We asked for bread when in the past they just brought it. That was delicious they bring a small loaf with delicious butter. We share a ribeye and I ordered the mashed yams not very good and he had onion rings. They were big and looked quite delicious. The steak had no flavor no taste. I had to ask for A1 steak sauce. I don’t remember the steak being this way. Overall it was a great evening we enjoyed the atmosphere and of course each other. I just love the Virginia Highlands area for food and good times.
Was hanging out with my landlord from Northridge highland apartments and came across this place. Actually it's his spot. The stakes were amazing although a little pricey. But they were amazing so the price was very much worth it. I will definitely take a special someone here or a friend. The bartenders are great and the waitresses are dope. The look and feel of this place is aesthetic and has an English pub like fell. It's kind of homey like "Cheers" the TV show. I'll be back. Personally I love how you got to walk down stairs to get in the place.
