Hibachi of Jenkintown

Giving 2 stars because the food itself is good. However, when your spending $30 + to watch a hibachi show and all they do is grill meat in front of you it's very disappointing. Apparently, since COVID they no longer do the rice, so no funny egg roll, or onion volcano jokes. Literally just grilling meat. As good as the food is, it's not worth that kind of money. They even served the salad in to go containers. No longer worth the trip.

I’ve been going to this Hibachi for years and enjoyed it everytime I’ve gone, I came back after COVID and was very disappointed. They don’t do the Early Bird Special anymore even though it’s still on the website, that was very disappointing since this was why I wanted to go in the first place to this location. They served the salad in a to-go container even when eating in and not mixed in as it normally is. When it finally came to the entrees, the cook didn’t do any usual jokes or really interact with us besides asking how we wanted our food cooked. They also used a blowtorch to partially cook the food on the grill which I didn’t understand and it took away from the flavor from the grill and also overcooked some of the meats. Speaking of the flavor, they don’t add the sauce to the proteins anymore and brought it out on the side and they don’t even cook the rice on the table anymore and it came out from the back kitchen. We went with a large group for a birthday, we were seated but told they will wait for everyone to take orders which is understandable but it was warm in there I think drink orders could have been taken or given water for the table, but after that everything was nice, food was good
