Hen House Nashville Hot Chicken

I've got nothing especially witty here. Its really good chicken, reasonable price, and they do spice levels correctly (mild is not none, mild is still a little spicy, medium is spicy, and hot is HOT). My regular orders say more than any of my words

I ordered the x-spicy hot hen sandwich which was really good and the spice level was as expected. Mac and cheese side was great. It was definitely worth the price. Edit: I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 4 stars. I have gone back a couple more times and the food quality is still great but the reason I'm downgrading it to 4 stars is that the spice levels seem to be very inconsistent. My group and I ordered varying levels of spice and it seemed like it was either too little spice or way too much spicy than indicated.

Yesterday we ordered the Buffalo Mac, the Fry-baby, and the 5 piece tender basket. The Mac & cheese was creamy, my only complaint would be that there was a lot of celery flavor. It was the first thing you tasted. The Fry-baby was delicious and spicy. The tenders, like everyone else has said, are absolutely enormous. They were crunchy and very flavorful. We ordered everything at a "medium" spicy level and our lips were tingling. It was all delicious. Oh and don't skip the "Hen House" sauce, it is sweet, spicy and creamy. It works so well with everything. This is certainly about to become a regular spot of ours. Thank you Hen House crew! <3
