Hearth Cafe

My husband and I just enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. Although my order was initially incorrect (I had asked for buttermilk pancakes and was brought chocolate chip pancakes), the owner, Will went out of his way to fix the order and in less than five minutes I had my pancakes! To me this is a 5 star ⭐️ rating, not only is the service outstanding but the pancakes were absolutely delicious! I haven’t had original, home made pancakes like this in a very long time. Pancakes were spot on fluffy. My husband’s sausage patties were man sized and very flavorful. He thoroughly enjoyed them. We drove all the way from Waxahachie as there is nothing in town aside from IHOP. The drive is worth it and we feel that we finally found our Sunday morning spot after months of searching. Breakfast and good service are simple things that should not be complicated. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast wasn’t enough for me, I cannot wait to come back for the Dinner premiere on the 18th!! My girlfriend and I could not have had a better experience today. From the hostess being so polite letting us know there would be a bit of a wait, to being seated quicker than expected, the welcoming waiter, how quick our food came, the delicious food, the creative Refresher drinks, the amazing coffee, the beautiful aesthetic, it was all perfect! Hearth Cafe gained two loyal customers today, y’all are killing it!

The food was good and the portions were generous. I had the pancakes, which were nice and fluffy but so big they were sticking out of the plate. I was so stuffed that i had to box about half. The service was pleasant (without being obsequious) and efficient although he did forget the refills that we had asked for. I like how there are seats for people waiting in line to be seated instead of being made to wait outside like a lot of other brunch places. From what I saw, a lot of parents brought little children and the place seemed kid friendly. The (unisex) restrooms were clean and spacious.
