Immediately, WOW! Atmosphere is modern and lots of natural light (which I personally LOVE) and lots of seating throughout the restaurant and on the patio. Including large booths and long tables for groups. They also had tvs with sports playing. I ordered an El Jefe drink, at the bar, that was A-1. A breakfast shot turned drink, served with a piece of delicious, perfectly crispy bacon. The whiskey pour in the drink was perfect. For my main I ordered The Kitchen Sink with scrambled eggs instead. The flavors were sooo amazing in this dish. I was absolutely stuffed but kept eating to enjoy the flavors. The homemade hashbrown is a must have. Parking: Small lot attached to location with limited spots. However, there is a parking garage on the same block designated for Hatch guests.
Arrived today around 11am & were immediately seated outside. The waitress brought over 2 glasses of water & came checked in again before my boyfriend got back from parking the car. The lot is very small. He found a parking garage around the corner. We got the monkey bread, which was fabulous! It wasn't like the traditional monkey bread I had growing up in the Midwest, but we loved it. We enjoyed our meals. The Incredible Eggwich without cheese was not as spicy as expected, but still good. The Cheiftain's Revenge was HUGE! The braised pork melted in your mouth & the guac had great geat from the addition of the jalapenos. The Verdes sauce wasn't as spicy as we would have liked (Texans), but had good flavor. We also got the hashbrown tumblers. We were least impressed by these. They tasted like balled up hashbrowns with some filler that were tossed into a fryer. Crispy but had a grease fryer taste to them. The Backyard BBQ Mary was good but again could have had more spice. The decaf
Second time here and it's very much a favorite! Breakfast Cuban should be experienced by everyone! Our lovely server Ashley made us feel right at home and everything was great. Go with a big appetite because they don't skimp on food. Surprise favorite was the iced latte. Can be a bit tricky finding parking if it's busy but definitely worth a short walk or circling the block for this place!
