Sushi here is alright, but they're all basically just variations of a California roll. The king's roll is a bit different with soft shell crab (and huge), but ultimately the taste is all pretty similar. Chicken karaage is okay, nothing crazy. Sashimi is also just alright, not bad but not amazing.
I really like the chirashi bowl here. Years ago I'd get it and it included squid that was the best squid sushi I've ever had. Unfortunately the most recent time I went it didn't have squid, but it still had like 18 pieces of very high quality delicious sashimi. Highly recommend!
We came across this place randomly when we stopped by the Japanese grocery next door and it’s been one of the better (best?) sushi spots in South Bay in terms of quality and price point. Good quality seafood, generous portions, and the tempura veggies were crunchy, light, and airy. I’m glad to have found a trusty sushi spot to come to.
