Hartwood Restaurant & Whispers Pub

A place to come back to! I was surprised by the quality, the mushrooms and asparagus risotto was excellent. Delicious ice cream is definitely to share (unless you can devour huge amounts of it). The place is rather cozy, still feels like a house ;)

I met my two older cousins here this afternoon. We could catch up and converse after a long hiatus in a reasonably quiet atmosphere. The atmosphere with architectural salvage was beautiful and cozy. We were welcomed and served very quickly. Our food was delicious! My one cousin has the turkey Devonshire. She enjoyed the taste and the proportion was enough to take half home. I had a salad with goat cheese, pears, cucumber, blackberries and grilled chicken. An outstanding salad with a tasty unique dressing. My other cousin had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. She remarked that the lettuce was a good blend of greens with no iceberg lettuce which she and I both prefer. This restaurant is a cozy gem which will not disappoint any diner.

Very enjoyable restaurant with exceptional ambiance and delicious foods. The drinks were generous and tasty. The servers were prompt and pleasant. I loved being able to be outside in the fresh air. I was there at an off time which I'm sure contributed to an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend checking it out and taking your favorite date here.
