Hank's Catfish & BBQ

So reviews indicated this was a great place for fried catfish. After spending $45 for lunch today, I will probably not go back. The catfish was okay, but could have stayed in the fryer a little longer. Just too wet inside for my taste& I was raised on fresh catfish from Mississippi. Hush puppies are pretty good, but are not prepared there, must be frozen. Baked beans were so so. Coleslaw was good, not great. Hubby didn’t like his brisket, green beans or corn. Not enough options on beer offered. Very unhappy with lady taking our order. We were only people there, but she was not friendly or encouraging or forthcoming with their selections. For $45 I expect a welcoming attitude and some assistance with the menu. At least a nice young lady delivered our food, but we bussed our own table at the end.

I had Bar B Q pulled pork with baked beans and collard greens. My daughter had the pulled pork with corn nuggets and fried okra. It was very good. The pork was tender and the veggies were awesome.
