This has been me and my boyfriend go to place for sushi the few months (we have tried a few places in between and always come back to Hana.) We absolutely love sitting at the Sushi Bar, the sushi chefs are always super nice and accommodating, Lawrence is our go to man! He always welcomes us with a warm smile and has made us feel special each time we come in. The food quality is always fresh and the same, the Hawaiian Roll is my personal favorite! I appreciate the fact every time we’ve come in, not only has the food been great but the customer service as well. Definitely our #1 Sushi spot. (Don’t forget to tip your server as well as the sushi chefs❤️ Especially when they treat you well)
Disappointing food. Got take out for dinner from the place and will not try again. Takoyaki doesn't have a sphere shape and it was lacking so many elements such as bonito flakes. Plus, the Takoyaki was not fully cooked; you could still feel the raw batter when eating it. Pad thai really lacked seasoning. The only thing you could taste is just sweetness and sourness. Pad thai was not savory at all. Sushi (tokyo roll) was just alright, not much comment about it. Ultimately, the tonkatsu ramen was a big disappointment. The broth from the ramen did not even taste like tonktasu. It lacked any richness. The egg was so hard and you could tell it was not fresh. I don't recommend this place and i would recommend going to better ramen places in the Frisco area at Preston.
Food: I ordered chicken from the hibachi grill. My chicken was very dry. So much so that I struggled to swallow it. I had to leave my meal half finished because it was so bad. The flavor, however, was pretty good. The Teriyaki sauce was very weak; I couldn't even taste it. Service: The waiter we had at this particular visit was excellent. He promptly brought out our food, was friendly, and checked on us often. Atmosphere: I was seated at a table, not at the hibachi grill. However, there was a LOT of extremely loud people in the hibachi rooms. A group of 5 high school kids was seated in the table next to me and they were obnoxiously loud; it ruined the atmosphere for me. I don't blame the restaurant for this one, I just got unlucky. But the loud people in the hibachi room ruined it. Overall: Sadly, with the dry food and the loud people, I won't be coming back. Especially for the price: For myself, my partner, and my two children, I walked away with a $120 bill. That's very expensive for
