Halls Chophouse Greenville

Wonderful dining experience in a lovely spacious setting overlooking the river waterfall and downtown Greenville! Beautifully decorated, service was excellent, and the food was superb. Had the prime rib 8 ounce absolutely delicious, that was tender and seasoned to perfection. The appetizers were all good, hard to decide which ones to order so try a couple at least. The Tiramisu cheesecake topped it off (and was a huge slice of cheesecake, by the way)! Pricey, yes, but worth the experience. It was a beautiful day, but rain, or shine the view from a window table especially, topped off the dining experience. I don’t usually include information about the restroom in a review, but the restroom was charmingly decorated with photographs of Audrey Hepburn from her various movies, very clean, bright, and spacious. This was my first time here. We are new to the area and kept hearing about this place. I made a reservation on their site about a month and a half ago. They were closing for a month for reno so I made it for the week after they opened. I am so happy I did. The place was packed. There was live music. The view is beautiful. Complementary valet. Cashapp to tip if no cash. The setting was beautiful. I was really happy with my experience. The waiter was amazing very attentive and had great suggestions. I had the Kansas dry aged steak my husband had the bison it was so good. It was cooked perfectly and very tender. The onion soup it to d!e for! My husband loved the Ceaser dressing. The side were big portions to share. I will definitely be returning.

This restaurant is a true gem. Located right on the river in downtown Greenville. The first impression when we walked in the door was we are not only going to enjoy the food, we enjoyed the live music and the overall atmosphere. The food was cooked perfectly and prepared just like each of us asked for. The waitress was very knowledgeable and made several great recommendations. If you are ever in downtown Greenville make this just must do dinner restaurant.
