Halal5 (Food Truck)

I had there shwarma wraps, quesadilla, burger and chicken over rice. All the items were really good. They came to our campus with the truck and we all liked their food.

There are definitely mixed reviews about this place but if you wanna know some insight, definitely get the beef Shawarma. I’ve eaten Shawarmas at many different Arabic restaurants and most of them taste bland. What I like about this place is that every Arabic item has a Pakistani twist to it. This has to be the one and only Pakistani beef Shawarma wrap in town. The wrap, the beef, and the sauce is so full flavor I can’t describe it. The best way to describe it is that each bite as like a party in your mouth. Full of exciting flavors and fresh ingredients - it’s just a must try. The chicken Shawarma isn’t that bad either. It’s good but not as good as the beef shawarma. This place is open late but sometimes they randomly close early. It’s the strangest thing. So if I’m on a late night run for some munchies, I’ll usually called him before going just to make sure they are there and open. The staff is very friendly and will educate you on the menu items. I was a bit skeptical about the prices. $7 for a Shawarma does seem on the steep end considering this is literally a food truck but the shawarma was colossal and pretty filling. Though I still feel the prices are a bit steep especially for items like Quesadillas but the food is great, tastes fresh, large portions, and the wait times are reasonable.
