Hakata Ikkousha Ramen Torrance

A definite must in Torrance, CA! I got the traditional ramen and a side of karaage! The ramen was amazing, jam packed with layers of flavorful broth and the karaage was the crispiest and most tender fried chicken I’ve ever had (and I live in Kentucky)! The only Hakata in the US! They’re world-renowned!

Food: The food was great, I had gotten The restaurant special and it was really good. I added a boiled egg for a 2.50 and the egg not being fully boiled left a slightly uncooked yellow yoke, I tried it and I loved it like that with the broth . I'm can't eat to much spicy but my wife grabbed the firey hot one it was also red and she really liked it. I also grabbed some of the things that looked like dumplings, they were also good . I was not aware they were sea food treats. I dipped them in my soup. Really good. I got a really good non-carbonated drink called calpico that was delicious. Service : I had a great time with my 3 kids and wife. At first they let us sit there for a while then helped us . They gave us our food very fast. The person helping was a young man great service. I would come back again to try the sweet and sour soup. !
