My wife and I went for our anniversary. Service was good but food was mediocre, not very seasoned. At least my wife's fish wasn't. My steak was OK, definitely better than the fish. I would say with it being in the Stockyards you're paying more for the atmosphere than the food.
Had a night at the stockyards. Needed a steak, and H3 Ranch was up for the task. I usually don’t bother with salads or sides, meat eater only usually, but sampled everything this night. Salad was solid, steak was cooked to perfection medium rare and had a side of ribs…how awesome is that? The baked potato was a nice addition as well. If you’re in the area and want a good steak, come by, you won’t regret it. I highly recommend this place. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains!
Fabulous place for a true Texas experience. Food is great, service can be a hit or miss - the ambiance is fantastic. Old fashioned, Margaritas, Queso, Gaucamole, Chicken fried steak, Spit roasted chicken and Pulled pork sandwich were phenomenal. The ribs were average at best.
