Amazing authentic creole restaurant in the heart of the French quarter. The portions were large and delicious. I got the full Creole dinner with okra gumbo, jumbalaya, and choux corn, and it was all delicious. Our server was fantastic, and the ambiance in the back patio was perfect. A must hit spot in Nola

The gumbo shop lives up to its name, the hospitality is well versed in their demeanor you will get it everywhere, but our server destiny was well informed and highly sophisticated with the history of the dish.
